I could have written the above blog post. I have been striving and striving, I have tried all of the things she mentions and still not seeing results. I got a clue a few weeks ago. I need to surrender my weight to God. I keep handing it over to Him and taking it back becuase He didn't make me fat, I did. Therefor I should be the one to fix it right?! My body is supposed to be a temple but it needs a good cleaning before I see it as fit for the Holy Spirit to dwell. Just like any other struggle in my life His grace is sufficient. I am trying to convince myself of that.
